Preaching and Teaching

This is the vital and unique ministry for God's Church as the Divinely ordained means of communicating the Word of God in the edification of Believers and evangelism of the lost. The Bible says, "...God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who would believe...we preach Christ crucified...All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" [1 Corinthians 2:21 & 23, 2 Timothy 3:16-17]. As such, Stuart is not a "story-teller" or sermon-entertainer, but a Bible preacher and teacher. In a day when the "art" of preaching is lost in many pulpits, depriving many congregations, Stuart is committed, with the help of God, to letting the Word of God speak for itself without fear or favour.

Revival Services

Since 1999, Stuart has been conducting Revival Services. These are times, over a weekend of number of successive nights, where a local Church (or local Churches) is invited to draw aside and specifically seek God in repentance, refreshment and renewal. Such opportunities are more needed than is often recognised beforehand. The results, by the grace and promise of God, are life-changing and long-lasting. Perhaps the greatest need of every local Church is for a Heaven-sent, Holy Spirit Revival! "Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?" [Psalm 85:6]

Gospel Concerts

The ability of music to move the heart is well attested. Christianity has rightly been described as a "singing religion"! Our Gospel Concerts seek to communicate and celebrate God in Christ and the "great Salvation" [Hebrews 2:3] He alone offers to all. These musical events are prayerfully crafted to warm the hearts of Believers and reach the heart of the un-Believer through telling the Story of Salvation through song. "He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD" [Psalm 40:3].

"A Month Of Sundays!"

For many local Churches a Sunday evening service is a "no longer" or "not much" event. The result is that many Christ-Ones are at a loss and lack over Sunday nights.

A Month Of Sundays is literally what it says: a Sunday evening event over the successive Sunday nights of any given month to promote and provide a platform for the Word of God to be opened and proclaimed in either a series of Gospel Presentations, Revival Services, or themed Bible Teaching. Such could be used as a way to enhance already existing Sunday evening services, help reintroduce Sunday evening services, or to give the local Church(es) a special period of opportunity in focus for the building up of the Believers in Christ and the reaching of the Unsaved for Christ.

Pulpit Supply

Sadly this is a great need in many Churches today with a lack of Pastors to fill the pulpit each Sunday. During a Pastoral Vacancy, Stuart would be privileged and glad to provide preaching on a Sunday(s) and offer pastoral care to a congregation where and when they have need, until a Pastor is placed. The Bible says, "Be shepherds of God's flock...not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve" [1 Peter 5:2].

Pastoral Support

As a full-time Pastor for 25 years, Stuart regards being a Pastor as the best job in the world and seeks to Champion the Pastor's cause. He says, "Second only to being called 'Mum' or 'Dad' is the honour and trust of having someone call you 'Pastor'." He also recognises that, at the same time, it is the hardest - and loneliest - task. Pastors need to be Pastored! It has been his continued privilege to quietly come alongside Pastors in support and confidentiality. If you are a Pastor who is in need - or you know of one - please do get in touch. Not just in marriage but in Ministry, "Two are better than one..." [Ecclesiastes 4:9]. There is nothing to compare with the bond Pastors share if they will only allow it.
